Like Sam mentioned, it's more of a movement and less of an actual party (there's actually a registered party of trolls that "stole" the PP name to their benefit).</div><div><br></div><div>In the end, it's all about things that are done in good taste. In our case, the .il PP helped spread the word much better than how we would do it organically, and added interesting content to the event, so it worked out great.</div><div><br></div><div>I agree that there's the issue of remaining non-political, but everything is politics, as they say, and as long as Cryptoparties stick to the script, and teach crypto without it being blatantly used for other ends, I say do whatever's necessary in order to make more cryptoparties happen.</div></div>

(our) end.<br><br>To conclude, I personally place higher trust and respect in all the independant dedicated contributors like <span>Hauke</span>
and Jochim than some guys that just made a list of some events and (if I
am understanding the arguments correctly) have appropriated the
Cryptoparty movement for some free PR given recent headlines. <br>
Of course if given the benefit of the doubt you could say that the
public outcry was the catalyst that was needed for people to act. Lets
wait and see how commited the pirates are to keep hosting cryptoparties
and producing high quality documentation and resources.<br>
