TeleTrusT is a German Network consisting of large Corporations and
Government institutions. Its main interest is IT security. Members
include Microsoft,
RIM, BND (German Secret Service), BSI(closely affiliated with BND). Bstu.
On the 17th of July, Dr. Holger Mühlbauer offered financial support for
Cryptoparties in Germany(?) on the following conditions:

   - The event may not be politically-aligned with any party.

   - TeleTrusT (= profit association) is known to support the event and
mentioned as a supporter on invitations and press releases.

   - The event must not be an "advertising event for open source software"

One of the reasons why we have to decline politely is, that
commercialization and endorsement of corporations, even indirectly by
TeleTrusT, is against the core values we have as a movement.

Next Steps:

   - Heed the advice from fukami and CCCMZ and make a firm, friendly but
accurate rejection of the TTT offer.
   - Join the pad and help with the text:
